Another year, another paycheck for the highest earners on Forbes. There are quite a few buzz-worthy rankings in the wildly competitive world of modeling this year. First, Gisele Bundchen continues to be the highest-paid model in the world with a $44 million bank roll. Her earnings dropped by three million from 2014 but she continues to earn more than three times the number two slot! The 35 year old proves one doesn’t need to be in her early 20s to rule this industry.
The second highest-paid model of 2015 is a newbie with tons of buzz. Cara Delevingne (pictured above with Kate Moss) only broke into the top list last year but has managed to jump from $3.5 million to $9 million. The 23-year-old newcomer can credit the push to acting deals and appearances in campaigns for 13 brands. She’s also a popular Instagram user (19 million followers) and carries a star-studded circle of friends such as Taylor Swift.
Speaking of celebrities, two other names are standouts on this year’s list, although they appear on the lower end. Kate Moss is is still one of the highest-paid models after 14 years in the biz. The 41-year-old legend came in at number 12 with $4.5 million. And finally, the other chat-worthy ranking is Kendall Jenner.
Although she’s new to the industry, her celebrity status as a Kardashian-Jenner member and her impressive social media reach (36.4 million followers on Instagram alone!) have launched her new modeling career to insta-heights at 19 years old. She made 4 million before taxes, putting her at number 16. This is impressive as several models tied for the 17 slot, including household names like Kate Upton.
