Steve Ballmer (full name Steven Anthony “Steve” Ballmer”) is one Microsoft’s gurus and is the current owner of the Los Angeles Clippers. In the year 2000, Ballmer became the CEO of Microsoft, although he first started working at Microsoft in 1980. At that time, the company was extremely small with only 30 employees. Bill Gates hired him on as their business manager with a yearly salary of $50,000 along with some stock in ownership.
The following year, when Microsoft became an incorporated organization Ballmer’s ownership was 8%. Ballmer studied every aspect of the company, getting to know it inside and out, developing much of Microsoft’s inner-workings. From operations to sales, he lead the .NET framework project. From 1998 to 2001, Ballmer served as Microsoft’s president. He served as CEO for Microsoft from January 2000 to February 2014. As of May 11, 2015, his personal wealth is estimated at $22.7 billion
